Program #6 Songbird Sings with Boston Music Legend Robin Lane


From Laurel Canyon in the Hollywood Hills to Boston, and now to Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, Robin Lane has made a life in music, singing with Neil Young on the song "Round and Round (It Won't be Long)" on the album "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere," then during the New Wave era of the late 70s and early 80s coming out of Boston with Robin Lane and the Chartbusters to help inaugurate the first day of programming as the 11th song ever broadcast on MTV.

Now some 30 years later, Robin Lane continues her life in music as founder and director of a non-profit organization supporting women, youth and veterans in using the therapeutic power of music and self expression to heal from trauma--Songbird Sings. On today’s program, a conversation Robin Lane.
